Built by a dog owner, for dog owners
The story behind Dog Flight Guide.
We just wanted to fly with our dog
My wife and I have a Pomsky named Nala. She's 3 years old, full of energy, and goes pretty much everywhere with us. But when it comes to flying, figuring out which airlines actually welcome dogs on board felt like a full-time job.
Cabin or cargo? Weight limits? Which breeds are restricted? Every airline buries their pet policy somewhere deep in their website, written in small print, and it changes without warning. After spending way too many hours piecing this together before every trip, I decided to build the resource I always wished existed: a complete, searchable overview of all airlines and their dog policies.

What Dog Flight Guide is
Dog Flight Guide is a free, independent database of airline pet policies. Every airline gets a Dog-Friendly Score based on their actual rules: whether small dogs can ride in the cabin, how generous the weight limits are, what fees to expect, and whether certain breeds are restricted.
Honest, up-to-date information so you can find the right flight for you and your dog.

The person behind it
I'm Florian, and I build things on the internet. Dog Flight Guide started as a personal tool and turned into something I'm genuinely proud to share with other dog owners.
