Small dogs, cats and household birds can travel in the cabin if they fit comfortably in a kennel that stows fully under the seat in front of you; Delta recommends a soft-sided carrier up to 18 x 11 x 11 inches. There is no published weight limit, but the pet must be able to move around in the kennel. The cabin fee is 150 USD/CAD each way within the US, Canada, Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands, and 200 USD/CAD/EUR each way for international travel. Pets are not permitted in the cabin to or from a number of destinations including Hawaii, Australia, the UK and others, and general pet shipping in cargo is limited to eligible military and State Department members.
