Affiliate Disclosure
In short
Dog Flight Guide is free and independent. Some of our links to shops are affiliate links: if you buy something after clicking one, the shop pays us a small commission. The price stays the same for you.
Where you find affiliate links
At the moment on the carrier pages: the links to Amazon (amazon.com on the English pages, amazon.de on the German ones). As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.
Links to the manufacturers' own websites are not affiliate links. If we add other shops or partner programmes, we name them here.
Why we use them
Running Dog Flight Guide costs money: hosting, the automated weekly checks of every airline's pet policy, the mobile app with its store fees, and the tools behind all of it. We want the website and the app to stay free, without ads and without a paywall. The commissions help cover these costs.
What affiliate links never change
The Dog-Friendly Score is calculated from each airline's published policy, and no airline can pay for a better one.
The airline check on the carrier pages compares each carrier's dimensions with the limits the airlines publish. A commission never changes whether a carrier fits. Carriers that are not sold on Amazon, and carriers that fit no airline, are listed the same way as all others. Next to Amazon we link the maker's own website, so you can choose where to buy.
Prices and availability
We don't show prices or stock. You will find up-to-date prices and available variants at the shop or on the brand's site.
Cookies and data
When you click an affiliate link, the shop may set a cookie to recognise that you came from us. We receive no personal data, only an anonymous summary of the purchases made through our links. The details are in our privacy policy.
