• New: dog carriers for flying. 20 soft-sided carriers and crates, every size checked against the cabin and hold limits of the airlines, with filters for airline, your dog's weight and type, and a page per carrier with its sizes and the result at every airline
• Airline pages show which carriers fit in the cabin and in the hold, with a link to compare them all
• The menu now reads All Airlines, Dog carriers, Guides and Contact; About and Blog are in the footer
• Some links to shops are affiliate links. The footer says so, and a new affiliate disclosure explains what that means and what it never changes
• Pages no longer jump while they load, and grey secondary text is easier to read

• On phones, the airline list on the homepage opens to the key facts only: cabin weight, carrier size, cabin fee, hold and breed rules, with a button to the airline page for everything else
• Breed rules on airline pages are a short list per breed group on phones and narrow screens, instead of a cramped table

• Dog Flight Guide is now available in German at dogflightguide.com/de/: every page, all airline pages, the blog, the updates and the privacy policy, with the app store badges in German too. Switch languages at the top of any page
• New guides section with evergreen topics, starting with airlines that allow large dogs in the cabin: cabin weight limits airline by airline, from 8 kg to no fixed limit, and where a bigger dog can fly instead. It updates with every policy check
• The homepage answers the most common questions about flying with a dog, from cabin weight and carry-on to costs and paperwork
• Fixed a double full stop in the breed answer of the airline FAQs, and removed carrier size from the scoring factors, as it does not count towards the score

• Breed rules on airline pages are now a small table that shows in words where each rule applies: in the cabin, in the hold on your flight, or as a cargo shipment booked separately
• Score colours are the same everywhere, on the airline list, on airline pages and in shared images, and the score ring no longer shows a notch at high scores

• New calculation of the Dog-Friendly Score for every airline. It is more realistic and now includes the new factors we collect: where a breed ban applies (cabin or hold), the actual fees on cheap and expensive routes, cabin and hold fees separately, and more weight levels. The new tiers are explained on How we score
• Airline pages have a new layout: two cards show at a glance what applies in the cabin and in the hold, from the weight limit and carrier size to fees and how your dog travels
• Carrier and kennel sizes are now listed wherever the airline publishes them, in centimetres and inches
• Fees show the actual price, such as "€70–250 each way", instead of a $ to $$$ rating, on the airline list and on airline pages, with route-specific prices one per line
• Breed rules now show where a ban applies: in the cabin, in the hold or for air freight
• Each airline page has a summary with route restrictions, minimum ages and other details from the airline's rules, plus general tips for before you fly
• The airline list has a new carrier size column and shows carrier, fee and hold details when you open an airline

• Re-read the official pages of all 40 airlines in full and added carrier sizes, breed rules by travel mode and the number of dogs per carrier wherever they are published

• The Dog Flight Guide app is out for iPhone, iPad and Android, with every airline's dog policy available offline. Find it on the new mobile app page
• App Store and Google Play links in the footer, and Safari on iPhone and iPad now offers to open the app
• Airline pages now show when each policy was last checked against the airline's own pages, right at the top and in search results
• Links without a trailing slash now redirect to the right page, and labels across the site follow our sentence case style

• Re-checked the dog policies of 31 airlines against their official pages and corrected fees, weight limits, cargo options and breed rules for 29 of them
• Porter Airlines: dogs travel in the cabin only, as Porter does not carry pets in the hold
