Traffic, tech stack, and milestones. Built in public.
Background
Dog Flight Guide started as a personal problem: my wife and I have a Pomsky named Nala, and every time we planned a trip, figuring out which airlines actually allow dogs took way too long. I built the tool I always wished existed. The full story is on the About page.
The second motivation was purely technical. Almost every part of the stack below was new to me. I used this project deliberately to learn by building something real, rather than following tutorials. That hands-on experience is worth more to me than any course.
I share the numbers here because building in public keeps me accountable and occasionally helps other indie hackers who are working on something similar. If any part of how this is built is useful to you, feel free to reach out on X / Twitter.
