Summary
Eurowings carries dogs only in the cabin, up to 8 kg including a soft carrier bag (max 55 x 40 x 23 cm), and only on short- and medium-haul flights; there is no hold or cargo option. Dogs must be at least 12 weeks old, or 15 weeks on flights from or to Germany. Fees start at EUR 60 and vary by route. Pets are not carried on flights to or from the United Kingdom, Ireland, Keflavik or Marsa Alam, and category 1 fighting dogs are not accepted.
Only leak-proof, bite-proof, air-permeable soft bags are allowed; hard-sided containers are not permitted. The bag must fit sideways under the seat in front and combined pet plus bag weight must not exceed 8 kg. Two animals are allowed per bag and person.
Eurowings does not describe any transport of pets in the hold; pets travel only in the cabin.
